Flemington Flower Market

General

Cherry BlossomLast Saturday we had an early start of the day and went to Flemington flower market to get some flowers. We heard that flowers are really cheap there. The caveat is that you have to get there early (before 7am) if you want to get your hands on the good stuff. Come after 7am and you’ll find most kiosk has already closed.

We went there looking for vases so we didn’t have as much pressure to come early. Still, we spent $36 for flowers which could easily costs us over $100 from a florist. We bought 5 different types of flowers:

  • Calla Lily
  • Tulips
  • Cherry Blossoms
  • Orchids
  • Cymbidium Orchids
  • Trumpet Lillies

We left the market before 9am with a big grin on our faces. :D
